ODG 1
Educational Policy

Gudula Meisterjahn-Knebel, Nico van Ewijk, Herbert Haberl

- “Declaration of Bad Honnef” - Treat a prepared text (proposal)
- Elaborate a final version for presenting to the plenum on Sunday
- Contacts between members and ME – how does it work? Proposals…
- Internal dialogue between members, kindergartens, schools…
- External contacts: New members (single members, schools/kindergartens,
  universities, organisations…), ministries, sponsors, media, EU-
  Commission…
- Initiate social projects on the topic “Montessori Education”
- Collection of new researches in different countries on the topic “Montessori
  Education” (abstracts in English language and perhaps relevant links on the website of ME)

ODG 2: Montessori Professional Training Courses

The ODG2 is the group of teacher trainers from all over Europe meeting each year during the congress.
This year Germany is the host country and the German Montessori Association will introduce the teacher trainers onto the German Education system and specially the Montessori Courses.
Rainer Völkel (Deutsche Montessori Gesellschaft) and Jörg Boysen (Dachverband Montessori Deutschland) will be the speakers.
After the presentation there will be time for questions and discussion.

ODG 3: Montessori Schools and Institutions
Lena Degerman, Dr. Malgorzata Miksza

The group will be divided in two parts.
The first part will discuss Secondary Schools: " How can we help each other to start and run schools in these age groups, and how can we help each other with material".
The second part will discuss "Guidelines to operate a Montessori school".
If you wish to participate in ODG 2 can get discussion material in the congress office on Friday, 01. October 2010.
